My favourite Bowie album by far. Great contributions by Bowie's "at the moment" band, Eno and Fripp. Can vividly listening to this in 1977 at a friend's house...smoking opium-cured hash and enjoying the moment. Still has the same effect some forty-five years later (without the hash, btw). A true classic in my books.

I got the exact same press (same label, same matrix/runout) but in a different sleeve : "Printed in USA" + no Canadian mark + "Not for sale demonstration" golden stamp at the back. Did I get a micmach or someone else got it like that too ?

The title track is amazing. One of Bowie's best and I know nobody is going to argue with that. The other songs he provides vocals for are a little less so. Still great quality Bowie but not necessarily my favourite album. Funny enough I really enjoy the B-side more than the A-side. I find the instrumentals absolutely groundbreaking for their time. Bowie and Eno collaborating might have been one of the greatest decisions ever made in the history of 1970s rock music.
