I adore this record - first heard it on Warren Gluck's "Closing Party" mix for the Saint club. It carries a slightly sleazy vibe, but has it all like Mr. Fonk says below--from the brilliant opening with the crickets to the cowbell & synths. The vocal takes it to pop territory (no bad thing) but I play the dub and it will add that certain je ne sais quoi to a set. Add in the incredible feline cover art - what more could you want?

No comments on this masterpiece? Top Club Anthem with a brilliant intro (crickets!!), earthquake beats, a killer bassline and a typical Hi NRG cowbell while it carries a "New Wave" aesthetique but still maintaining a NY club music feeling, so a perfect blend of various styles popular in 1984. It was a signature record both at "Fun House" and "The Saint."
