This is with most doubt Chicane’s best track he has ever produced. The original mix is the best one, easily.
Sublime breaks and deep bass. Lush chords and a gorgeous vocal, that provided the comedown soundtrack for clubbers of the golden era.
Chicane used to do this chill out thing so so well.
A personal favourite of mine. I also it being used in that old Club Reps show, and it fit perfectly. Really sums up that time. -
Edited 18 years agoTruly superb release, Chicane in a nice chilled format with this track, and some great vocals to suit it. While the Disco Citizens remix is just as good! The Disco Citizens 'On The Train' Remix is based on the track 'Love On A Real Train' by Tangerine Dream. With a nice melodic flowing intro, and a good beat to follow.

The Original Mix is Chicane at his most chilled, and probably my favourite of his tracks overall. It's so beautiful that I even bought a couple of singles by the featured vocalist Luce Drayton, only to find that they were "new folk"-y things and not my cup of tea at all. But I think her performance on "Sunstroke" means she's earnt the royalties anyway!
