Edited 4 months agoAbsolutely superb pressing, easy 10/10! From exactly the same stampers or files as the previous red vinyl 2xLP remaster (as the runouts of my copies reveal) but just as darn good of course. The neon green may look just that bit funkier too! Like most Record Industry pressings we get nigh flat, correct thickness and silent vinyl even despite the colour! You will forget a record is even playing.
The sound is fresh, clean, harmoncially rewarding and a showcase for how modern remasters should be done.
3500 copies isnt alot, so go get one if you love this album like i do! -
Concurring with the other reviews. Fabulous pressing, very clean out of the wrapper, not a single click or pop. That is always a pleasant start. The mastering is very good, sound is full with solid bass and broad soundstage. For $20 you can't go wrong. And the neon green...

This pressing really breathes new life into this record. Sounds incredible. Every detail of the music can be heard—even subtle nuisances seem more vibrant. Absolutely love the neon green vinyl with the red Elektra labels, too. If your a Cars fan, get this!

Have to agree with all the others posting so far. The neon green is sick. And the pressing itself sounds phenomenal. Nothing but the music and it is as dynamic as I've ever heard this album sound. Great price for a great record by a great band!

Edited 4 years agoThis is a fantastic pressing. Nothing fancy on the presentation side other than the neon green, but detail is all there and it punches as a Cars record should. Doesn't sound compressed or stuffy at all. Haven't heard the MFSL copy but I have heard complaints, and this is cheaper. No-brainer.

Love this pressing. Hearing a few drum machine little details I’d not heard before. Has good bass. One of my favorite albums ever. Got this on tape for Xmas 1981, I’ll never forget.

Awesome color, easily one of my favorite shades in my entire collection now; and for such an amazing classic! Bravo Rhino!
