Correction, they didn't only use a 707 on the Set Up 707 track. That is a 909, straight up. There's no way the 707 pounds that hard! I don't even think a 707 is anywhere to be heard on that track. Which adds confusion to the title. But either way, it IS indeed a pounder of an Acid track. It's too bad the rest of the release doesn't pound as hard. All time Midwest classic! Played at probably every rave that Terry Mullan and DJ Hyperactive played at from 92 - 94.

Edited 18 years agoAround the time in 1992 the track set up 707 was a worldwide club hit. The track was played by the likes of Mike Dunn & Armando. It was made because the ep was a track short, they wanted it to be a 6 tracker. With a shortage of time Dylan en Gert-jan were jamming with a 303 and a 707 and that's how it was born. They recorded it with the first take and nothing has been changed ever since. This classic acid track was the first step in what is now know as gabber/hardcore. The album was recorded in 1990 but came out in 1992. Only the track set up 707 was recorded in 1992. Great pounding Acid.
