Just want to express my gratitude for all the positive reviews below. Very helpful. Bought this based on them and am not disappointed. Clean, clear and dynamic - the trifecta. Buy with confidence.

Finally, this album sounds the way it should! Huge, with a wide (and deep) soundstage that eluded all the other versions I've purchased over the years!

Edited one year agoThe more U2 records I purchase, the more I find their mixing / production choices to be a little odd. Sibilance on this release is an issue, and should have been better managed. Bass is the highlight of the mastering for the 20th Anniversary edition. Artwork should have been a gatefold style sleeve, though the inner artwork booklet looks amazing. Pressing itself is outstanding, with no noticeable flaws. Overall, I’m pretty disappointed with this, compared to other anniversary releases.

Great sounding 20th anniversary, though i was a tad disappointed because every other anniversary of U2 vinyl pressings I've purchased it has not only poly lined sleeves but also included were nice pictured inner sleeves, not this time... Why oh why did they place a double vinyl press in a single sleeve.

After listening to this album and the songs so many times on the radio and on bad quality recordings this is a revolution. The mastering is unbelievable. everything has a place, the sound quality is off the charts. Add a pin drop silent pressing and it's a massive home run. Can't imagine this sounding any better anywhere. Don't know if this was recordeded to tape or not but if it was the Grundman studio has taken the tape and done wonders with it

I miss Always and Big Girls Are Best from this double vinyl, they could be on the D side after The Ground Beneath Her Feet, and the original songs could be on the A B C sides

Finally got this off the U2 store in the UK, sounds amazing. Though on the first vinyl, the hole was not cut directly int he centre, so they did it again, looks very sloppy. Lucky it plays well. Agree should have been a gatefold for the price and contents in the sleeve.

Great pressing. Very, very quiet and nice dynamics. My only complaint is that jacket is incredibly thin and designed to house two LPs but is not a gatefold. I would have preferred a thicker gatefold and perhaps a smaller booklet. It should have been easy to do for the price of the record.
