Great record and pressing, sounds loud and clear. Mine is DG side 2 only, which differs from the images for reference. An amazing set that is still semi affordable in 2025. Snag one while you can

Edited 5 years agoThis record was never issued with 47west63rd address. Only New York. HOWEVER the 1st pressing covers did NOT have the "Tokyo Blues" Lp cover on the back. 1st pressing is Deep Groove on one side as well.

Am I correct in thinking that the 1961 'original' US release couldn't have been issued with the 'New York USA' labels as this didn't come into the catalogue until 1962?
I believe the 1st US pressing (mono BLP 4076, stereo BST 84076) would have had the 'W. 63rd St.' address...
