My copy sounds fantastic. No distortion issues. Haven’t heard this album since the late 80s. Glad a picked this one up!

I bought this on a lark because I am a fan of some of the hits. It turns out that this is a really great record. The pressing sounds amazing. Quiet and just awesome.

I'd forgotten what a great album this is and how much I love it; great mix of tracks primarily from the third and fourth albums. Crowd is used when needed. I've experienced no distortion on side 1 (bought from PG store). And it weighs a tonne! Each record is 210g out of sleeves. Having said all that, the original UK vinyl always sounded so perfect.
-
This new press is absolute garbage. I ordered three copies and all with the same results. Distortion on the same tracks on side 1, "NOT ONE OF US" and "FAMILY SNAPSHOT". I compared this to three versions that I have which is the original UK first press US first press snd Japanese first press. All three sound amazing and way better than this re-release. And no distortion! Beyond disappointed. AVOID!!!

I want Matt Colton and Tony Cousins cutting and mastering everything in the world! Their batting avg is 1.000, everything they do has been a hit! I would have liked a bit more low end on some songs with Levin's bass playing......still a massive hit. I can't wait to receive Secret World Live.

This remastered 2 LP set is about as perfect as it gets. Plays back great no matter what the dynamics are. In the silent or near silent ages this pressing is very quiet. It's an example of an early 80's live recording done the right way. No ear piercing screaming or cheering. The new remastering is just the right balance, and you will be glad you bought this 2 LP 180 Gram edition.
