I was hooked when I heard "The Summoning".. What a monster of a track and I never get tired of listening to it. The guitar is 100% Type O Negative-esque. This song is a journey. -
All I can say is this album is fantastic and my copy sounds great. Some of these reviews crack me up, and I honestly don't know why "audiophiles" bother reviewing shoegaze and stuff like guided by voices. Yeah dude, there is audible distortion, everywhere.

Edited 4 years agoJust picked this up from my local record shop. Absolutely no issues. Sounds how a sealed mint record should. Such a great comeback record from one of the best bands! -
Just got my copy. I'm listening to it now, and it sounds like a pretty damn good pressing. Sucks that it was delayed, but it's worth the wait! -

I cannot stop listening to this album. I sure hope the vinyl pressing lives up to the Downward is Heavenward repress that came out last year. Going to be epic.
