The Capital Radio E.P. was a promotional record given away to readers who sent off the coupon printed in NME,
together with a red sticker found on the inside of the cover of the first 10,000 copies of The Clash's eponymous
album, which had been released that week; a week after their debut single, "White Riot", entered the UK Top 40.
