The textured jacket and beautiful gold foil obi are great. The Japanese are known for attention to detail, quality materials, and craftsmanship. However, from my first listen, those are the high points. I've never heard any other versions of this record so I have nothing to compare to. I will try to grab a US pressing so I can A/B compare the two but unless it's just a bad recording this version sounds pretty awful, very muddy presentation, with absolutely NO separation. The sound stage is flat here. I don't know what they did to this thing but it's pretty sad. If I find that it's just the original recording I will edit this but I doubt that's the case as the radio version sounds much better!

Very solid Japasese print. Bass and treble balanced, and overall sound very good! Album cover and other printed material top notch as you would expect from Japanese manufacturers.
