I think I got lucky. My copy is pretty quiet except for some slight muddiness at the last songs of each side. Not sure if giving it a heavy bath helped or not. But there's decent copies out there!

I’ve read through all these comments before buying this record. Playing mine I haven’t had any surface noise or popping. I cleaned it before playing it letting it dry for several mines then ran my static brush across it and cleaned the tip of my needle. The only bad thing I can say is that each sound isn’t properly leveled one is loud and one is quite. Overall great sounding record.

Occasionally some subtle squeaky noises coming from the record when playing it. I think it might have to do with the manufacturing process of making it glow in the dark. It has quite a bit of surface noise, too.

If you want your copy to shine bright in thr dark point your cameras flashlight around the record before placing it on your table. This will give it full glow in the dark brightness. I did for like 15 mins and it worked

One of the first records I ever bought and returned the next day. Sounds like I’m frying chicken while listening to the album. The surface noise is just unbearable when there is solo vocals and vocal breaks. If the noise wasn’t so bad I would cherish the record, but I had to return it. Not worth the money spent.

I got a brand new (Target, Glow-in-the-dark) copy. I cleaned very thoroughly before playing. It is so rife with crackles and pops. It's a shame. Billie has some amazing vocals in the softer s, but the record is very distracting. It ruins the magic. Track 2 - Bad Guy sounds (mostly) terrific however.

I must've gotten lucky, because my copy sounds pretty quiet and high quality. Like, pretty much no surface noise at all. It sounds the best on “bad guy”. The low-end is perfect, all of the frequencies sit perfect in the mix. It's upsetting that everyone has experienced so many issues with their copies. Many listeners should take into that the original album has a lot of intentional distortion and blown-out sub bass on purpose, so keep that in mind when listening to your copies. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the sound of my record. Cool that it glows in the dark as well.
