Picked this copy up and found it really hard to see the "H" stamp. If you see two vertical lines and are trying to tell if it's this one or the Indianapolis pressing, it's this one. The middle of the H is really faint. The copy sounded lovely, glad to grab a classic of his.

Absolutely love Bowie but I definitely had my “Bowie phase” in my mid 20’s. It’s difficult to listen to his records because I played them so much, however, I rarely get tired of this one. Station To Station is incredible track. Just a great and diverse flow of songs from start to finish. My favorite Bowie record across the board.

This was a revelation compared to the previous 2 pressings I had (a black label RCA/Nipper repress and the Virgin 180gm remaster). Much more detail and separation than the repress, and remaster is just awful compared to this, which has the much needed analog warmth and body needed to fully enjoy this great album. This is the one, for sure-listening on a Rega Planar 10/Apheta 3/Parasound JC 3 Jr front end.

Mine has a little surface noise on side 1 before it starts into the music- this pressing sounds fat and punchy- not as detailed as some of my best records but very nice! Otherwise a very quiet pressing. The material is really good too- I have had this for a couple decades and never listened to it! my fav is probably aladdin so these are totally different styles. Golden years is sick

The spine sticker on my copy is “AQL1-1327”. Also there is a small black stickers covering “Victor” on both side 1 and side 2 labels. Anyone else’s copy have either of these?

Incredible pressing beats the UK first press hands down. Probably in the States they had the original masters where it was recorded.
-
Adding this to my “examples of just how good vinyl can sound” collection when I want to try to convert people.

I've been spoiled by having this press be my first introduction to this album - everything else sounds lifeless in comparison. Punchy drums and bass. Beginning of Bowie's best stretch of albums.
