A rather influential album in hardcore, frenchcore history.
The bassdrums of both Toxic Phase and Art is Nasal have been sampled by countless producers in the hardcore, frenchcore, uk hardcore, breakcore, hardtek, hardfloor genres.
Originally released in 2001 on both CD and vinyl. While the album is often categorized as "frenchcore", as with nearly all Radium, Micropoint, Al Core albums there are some slower tracks as well, and some ambient, noise, beatless tracks.
I've always liked this approach by both Radium and Al Core.
Besides the Frenchcore tracks, other tracks on the album are in a more "Dutch" style: slower, with melodies.
Until well into the late 2000s, the tracks on this album could be heard on the one hand in the "freeparty" scene as well as in the "terror" areas at Dutch gabber parties. -
Banging Hardcore / Frenchcore album, my favorite fast tracks are Sordid Backstage, Art is nasal, Toxic Phase

This album includes many samples from The Mother's Of Invention's "We're Only In It For The Money", surprised me when I first heard that album how much he used in here.
