Woo I have a big problem with my copy, vol. 1 and vol. 2 are the same!! different labels but my copy of vol. 1 has the music of the volume 2! What the actual f?

It's interesting how these recordings differ from the corresponding final album versions. My knowledge on Azimuth is very limited, but I have tried to listen to their music over and over - obviously music containing a lot of qualities, but i have always ended up bouncing at the stiffness and slickness of it. I find it a little sad that these demo versions to me have so much more life to them, that somehow was lost later in the process. But it's good thing that they have been released so I finally found my Azymuth album.

I really enjoy this album of demos
they are home recordings the band did whilst they were working as a backing band in rio de janeiro... theres a lot here to enjoy musically ... if you love 70s return to forever , herbie hancock , weather report etc you will love this ... some real great moments and i dont think the lack of a prefessional sound takes too much away .. -
Demos indeed. The music here is top shelf, but the audio quality is severely lacking. A lot of life missing form the recording, which Far Out basically writes on the rear of the jacket (in so many words).
Demos (both volumes) is only for the true Azymuth heads.
