Usually when two narcissistic egos come together there is a clash. In this case, however, something wonderful has emerged: Douglas Pearce and Albin Julius complement each other perfectly and have created one of THE milestones of the genre. Both were at the height of their creative powers with their own projects Death In June and Der Butharsch at the time and therefore each of them contributed the absolute essence of their own music perfectly. Together they created an alliance with their songwriting, selection of hand-picked samples, etc. that creates a completely unique, ominous and sinister atmosphere from the first to the last minute of the album that is inherent only to this very album and has never been equalled since (not even by the two of them).
A straight five out of five stars and an album for eternity! -
Edited 9 months agoThe copy I have looks exactly like this, same labels, translucent brown vinyl, exact matrix and etching but mine is not signed or numbered. It even has the hype sticker mentioning the cd and looks era correct. I'm guessing not all were signed but why not a separate listing for this?

Edited 9 months agoStill the best way to listen to this record. The compilation LP that came out this year was a horrible pressing in comparison, such a shame.
