By far the best pressing of Odessey and Oracle I've ever heard, no doubt about it. Well balanced, crystal clear, warm and detailed. I've owned a few different versions over the years including: A polish mono (fold down), the more recent Big Beat issue and the 80s Rock Machine pressing. The Date pressing is my favourite by a long shot, it seems to capture the magic of the album perfectly.

Very nice sounding original pressing. Very punchy and airy mastering overall, with a big soundstage to back it up. The only downfall with this pressing is that This Will Be Our Year is fake stereo, rather than just being fully mono.

This particular pressing sounds AMAZING! Quiet vinyl, great low end and transparency. Great LP & great pressing.

I have a copy of this that has a printing error on the front cover. The colors are misalligned by about 1/4 inch. Anybody have any information about this?

The low end on these early pressings are so powerful. Sounds good.
