Fell in love with this album 20 years ago after finding out this is where the majority of the music from Gerard Damiano's 1977 adult film ODYSSEY: THE ULTIMATE TRIP came from. A decade ago I licensed it myself for use in my true crime thriller THE LONG ISLAND SERIAL KILLER (aka THE GILGO BEACH MURDERS) based on the unsolved serial killings. Needless to say I am crazy about this album. I can't believe it's been reissued on vinyl. It sounds absolutely amazing and I am quite thrilled. My highest recommendation. -
My grandad worked at the studio where this was recorded and he told me the man who played the bongos on this album left the bongos in a terrible state, he spilt his cup of tea all over the bongos on the last day and never told anyone before going home!!
