Notes

Unique variant of Apple/Capitol SMAS 2386 from 1971, in that it's a first US Apple pressing with an Apple label with the "Mfd. by Apple Records, Inc." in green text at the bottom of label on Side 1 and no perimeter print on Side 2 differing from the labels of first US Apple issue The Beatles - Help! (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). (see images)

Pressed at Capitol's Los Angeles factory, as identified with a ✲ in the run-out area.

These Apple variations of their albums, that were originally issued on Capitol, were in print only for a short time in 1971.

I have this version except my A side has an etched “5” instead of a “2”. The B side has an etched “3”.

I have sticker damage on my side b label in the same spot as the sticker on the photo for this release. Wonder what sticker they were putting on these.
