The controversial rapper Eminem is the first white mega star that hip-hop has produced. In his lyrics he spares nothing and nobody. Even his wife and his mother get verbal merciless, without that clear is whether it all felt or not. After one album that was suspended from his alter ego Slim Shady (The Slim Shady LP) and one to his actual name (The Marshall Mathers LP) he presents on this record just like Eminem. Only on the single Without Me Eminem Slim Shady dives. Again makes impression with his virtuoso rap. For the first time, he also occasionally see something of themselves, as in the bitter Cleaning Out My Closet and Hailie's Song, where he is a loving father shows. But above all, he confronts the white American society again with emotions where they prefer not to be bothered with it. That makes him one of the most important pop stars of his time.

I don't know, this may trump MMLP in my Eminem rankings list. I like how this album is a lot more personal, and less focused on shock value than the previous two albums (Not to diss MMLP or SSLP at all, they're both still great). Honestly this is the Eminem I always liked most, and while I love throwing on ts like Criminal, Drug Ballad and Kill You, the more personal and politically concious songs I enjoy more. I would say that compared to MMLP, this one has no tracks that just jump out as bad (amityville, Under The Influence), but less crazy good tracks (Criminal, Stan, Drug Ballad). It's honestly just up to the mood I'm in, MMLP has some more crazy songs and this has more mature songs. They're both equal in my opinion.
