Edited 3 years agoJust picked up a sealed copy, pressing is fine. Engineering needs help, but basically sounds like just a raw version near the sound board, so in that context it’s fun and definitely captures their thing very well. It did brighten a little with a trip through the spinclean. There are some stunning moments where it’s great there’s no polish on it. The latter half of Summer Madness is glorious. -

Found a copy......fantastic pressing, i must have found a clean copy. Very little surface noise on right channel that people are complaining about.........and no warps or surface scuffs??

A lot of these seem to have right channel noise issues across both sides. I went through 4 copies before I got a clean one. -
The right channel has some serious noise issues on my copy (factory sealed at arrival). Anyone else got this problem? -
They pressed 1500. There was an issue with 500 of them and those 500 were not put up for sale.
The remaining 1000 were sold.
They then repressed the 500. Those are the ones for sale now.
So only 1500 ever released for public sale.

Bought this from Rough trade in London a few days ago. I'm currently listening to it now.
Can't believe the price people are trying to sell it for when it's still in stock via the store or website. -
what's happened here is a lot of people have bought it from rough trade for £22 or off ebay for £19 (yes, £19 with postage!) and are selling it on here for doubl and it's not even in the shops yet. Very strange, I'm sure there must be a lot of copies somewhere between the distributors and the shops, there's 1500 copies, it's not some madly limited 300 copy thing.

So... They must have sold their souls to the devil or some shit.... This is special this is... Get one quick! Dare I say these tunes come over better live than recorded? Yes... Wonderful pressing too, especially for a coloured vinyl... Wonderful in every way!
