Someday, when I'm feeling ambitious, I'm going to correct all of the entries above that label this album "John Lennon / THE Plastic Ono Band". It's just "John Lennon / Plastic Ono Band" folks.
Yes, I'm fun at parties. -
Sweet sounding LP, with John's vocals open-sounding & clear as a bell, drums have that crunchy-punchy vibe with nice bass too. And even though this LP was previously enjoyed, the vinyl itself is very quiet on my copy.

I can’t believe how good this is! The music practically barks and jumps out of the speakers at you! The shimmer of the drums sound like the kit is being played in the room with you. The detailing is unreal.
-
Uk first pressing is, as usual and sadly still the very best version of this album, no remaster or remix beeing able to recreate that fabulous sounding piece of vinyl - strange days indeed…!
-
The prices here really cheated somehow
I have bought NM copy for 140$ almost 20 months ago, how come ?
Where is this deal ? Dissapeared ? LOL
Sounds fabolous btw, soul touching Lennon's vocals so clear in front of you -
Could anyone willing to sell just the inner sleeve please shoot me a PM? I don't need the record or outer sleeve.
-
This is personally my favorite album of all time. The new remixed version sounds great and is worth having as well, but this original UK pressing has never been topped…including the MoFi.
-
This album is the definition of overrated. There isn't a single good track on it. None of them would have made it onto a Beatles album.
