wish i’d spent the money on the og copy. this has a large skip on heaven can wait. this release is dogwater
-
Edited one year agoNot for audiophiles. Even though it has many pops, it has the best sound a picture disc can have.
“Speechless” is a masterpiece. -
Edited one year agoNot my favorite album as a whole, but I do have some favorites. “Cry” is the masterpiece in my opinion. My 20 year old son in 2023 out of no where said he enjoys this record. Glad the next generation is enjoying his talent. Highly recommended.
For a picture disc it sounds good. -
In of a picture disc this is a really good pressing. Eventhough Michael Jackson is the biggest artist of all time his recordings haven't always neccesarily been made with audiophile quality in mind. However, when listening to this record I heard some sounds in the background that I never noticed on a digital source. Definitely a must have for any Michael Jackson fan.
The artwork on this album fits a picture disc very well. -
Received my copy from Amazon. Not an audiophile experience. I still enjoy listening to this picture disc as much as any other record I own.
-
The MJ picture discs, at least the couple I own, are fairly good, and this one is no exception. It sounds the best that a picture disc can sound.
-
This isn't the ideal way to listen to this album on vinyl, but my copy is mercifully serviceable. As far as picture discs go, anyway. The biggest problem is the mastering itself, though. It's pretty muddy sounding overall. Surface noise comes up every now and then, but it's not so bad.
