Heartbreak. That is what this album is the embodiment of. Years may have ed since it's original release (almost a decade) but Olive's message endures even though they do not. It is difficult to understand why they went away after this album but fortunately, the work speaks for itself.
Songs like "Indulge Me" and "Push" are absolutely devastating in their beauty. The orchestrations in the latter underline and emphatically highlight a message no listener can turn away from. There is much ion in this aural tome, they may have just been a flash in the pan to the clubs but for those of us who studied their work closely it is the same as having someone around you know better than yourself and vice versa.
Intimacy phobic types had best give this one a miss, Ruth Ann's vocals are pure unadulterated glittering desire.
