Can't believe I only paid $5 for this. It skips once, and it's got a couple instances of light surface noise. Other than that it sounds fantastic. Everything I love about an organ-led soul jazz small group session in one smokin' package. Melvin Sparks kills it on guitar, Idris Muhammad drums up a storm, Houston Person swoops and soars, and Earland is on fire. Another absolute treasure recorded at Rudy Van Gelder's studio. I could play this album every day. -
Great record. If this doesn't get you up and moving, well..make sure your insurance is paid up.

Killer awesome jazz soul funk. The unit is impeccable. Idris Mohammed on drums wow. Sound is all time. Beautifully quiet wax. Bought here a VG+ and it’s clearly NM sometimes

The version of Aquarius on this is probably one of the grooviest tracks ever put to vinyl.
