Edited one year agoYou’d think with a compilation album you would not have the best mastering but this one in mono sounds great! Very punchy and rhythm driven. The cuts don’t sound any worse than the 1st press mono cuts on the OG mono albums they came from. Sounds better to me in mono and being they are essentially a collection of singles makes more sense to be mono. I don’t know if this Santa Maria press is a bonus above other pressing for this album as it can be for other albums? All I have in vinyl to compare is a 70s stereo repress which is no match for this one.
