Edited 7 years agoQuantity over quality for a DM single once again. Some of these are along the lines of most modern DM remixes, i.e. poor, generic beats that seem like they were sat for a while on a producers hard drive and then had a DM vocal sample or two thrown on top.
They're not quite as bad as the Where's the Revolution double 12" set though.
On a more positive note, the Belleville Three Full Mix is worthy of an extra listen or two, Maya Jane Coles remix is not bad, and the Poison Heart rework stays fairly faithful to the original but with enough changes to make it new and interesting.
For the first time I can honestly say I probably won't buy the physical release of a DM single, on the plus side it's saving me money.
Edit - After a few more listens the Chris Liebing Burn Slow Mix is growing on me. It's no classic, but it's not bad.
