Most grateful for all the comments here, and across the pages of this release because they prompted me to pull the trigger and buy this on vinyl. The vinyl really does sound so much better than the digital release. The bottom end is just beefier and the packaging is just stunning.

Edited 7 years agoEither the matrix codes are wrong, or I have a different variant: mine say "IPC-193-B #2 and IPC-193-A #2", so the "LP" is missing. The gold version has the same matrix format, so I think there's a mistake here, copied from the catalog number, which does have the "LP". If I'm right, this should be corrected.

There's not enough time in this world or words in any language to truly describe how unique and absolutely crushing this record is. The music itself is blistering, one of Dave's heaviest releases if not his heaviest. Mike Patton does it again almost 30 years later and jumps into a record already written and somehow still makes an enormous mark on the entirety of the lp. The sound of this is also stupendous. Mastered at 45 rpm its definitely a quality record in sound and media. A must have for any fans of Lombardo, Patton, or odd heavy music in general
