Look, this a pretty solid album aside from maybe Chemistry concluding side 1. Definitely worth a listen if you see this in a bin one day. If you get locked it listening to a the first couple tracks of side one just buy it and play it one night before dinner with a few friends with the volume up a hair. It will make your system sound good and complement the evening. Lots to get lost in with this record.

Good sounding record, but it is a mediocre album. If you liked other Arcade Fire's works this album may disappoint you. It is definitely not as memorable as their other records.

Edited 7 years agoI was so high after first singles and live versions with them: Everything Now, Signs Of Life, Creature Comfort. Thinking about these songs i was so glad about all album. But now, listened all the songs, i need to be fair with myself - the album is good but a little overrated by myself, even with Electric Blue and Put Your Money On Me (God, this song is pretty). Everything Now is a great conceptual of art and disco in nowedays, but i prefer it to concept with dark disco and art-pop/rock with Reflector. Yeah, its only my remembrance of past time and sensations. Anyway, Everything now is great.
....no, no, no. of course, i forgot about We Don't Deserve Love. We Don't Deserve Love. in love.
I'm glad I have all their discography. -
As someone else has said, for the first time Arcade Fire haven’t made a record; they've manufactured one. A real letdown after 4 classics.

Creature Comfort has got a real feel of Siouxsie & The Banshees – Kiss Them For Me (https://discogs.programascracks.com/Siouxsie-The-Banshees-Kiss-Them-For-Me/master/42458) i don't think they have sampled it just similar vibe. both great songs

So do all the "night" versions of the vinyl have the blue vinyl or is that just the limited edition of the night version?
