Edited 7 years agoI say this to everyone who complains about sibilance or distortiion.....9 times out of 10, IT'S YOUR STYLUS. It's either not aligned correctly, or you're using a conical stylus (the cheapest kind....which inherently distorts the signal....badly if ithe recording is loud). If you're serious about sound quality, you need at least an elliptical stylus (.4 x .7 is cheap, .3 x .7 is standard and .2 x .7 is the best)....anything better you're getting into audiophile territory....tread lightly

is this the cd version that has differences from the final version(which is on streaming sites and newer cds), cause it's basically the leaked version

Edited 8 years agoA lot of relevant lyrics on this album, like usual, but it's much more directly focused at honesty and brutal, deep, human conditions. Impressed at times by his variety of vocal delivery, shifting the mood by half-singing, for example, or talking in a naive or tired or angry manner. Personally I love live musicians and colorful instrumentation (samples or not), but there are a lot of collaborators here, so it rarely gets too boring in the rhythm section. Good album. Worth a listen. Should appeal to most of us weak, sad, strong humans.
Love the cover. It really sums it up. "That's what Ameri(ca)/a mirror does..." -

Just pre-ordered the autographed 2xLP on red vinyl. So excited to have this masterpiece on wax. I for one would like to say thank you to Kendrick Lamar for putting up information and at least a pre-order so quickly after release--and for not pricing it absurdly high. Frank Ocean should take notice (Blonde).
