Excellent release. First issue on vinyl (colored 2018 version shares the same matrices). The mastering is great, sounds really good in all - transparent, detailed, well separated and dynamic. Mostly quiet surface - just a few clicks and pops.
Interesting embossed cover, but I wish it was an original art.

So many tells as to why this an unofficial release as noted by others. The fact that the Diplo label would come out of obscurity 20 years later to make a pair of Enigma records with an obscenely low quantity of 125 copies is the easiest tell.

Just wanted to say this is still one of the most beautiful booklets I ever seen, a few came around late 90s with other bands as well...but it is almost like oil on plastic, like an oil painting.

And the music together with Deep Forest was out of this world when it came, this is 90s for me.
Not what's on the charts or top lists.

Tend to agree with previous reviews, its an attempt to resurrect the tried and trusted formula of the first album that doesn't bring the vast amount of interest of that first album, it's a relaxed listen but not startling like the MCMXC a. D. album which is a stunning listen especially on SACD

A mixture of the first and second albums. Not his best, but in my opinion the last decent Enigma album, with some gems spread here and there after this.

Hello, I have a version of this CD from Japan that doesn't look like any of the others. It's the same release year but the cover and booklet is very different. Wondering if anyone else has this issue with this CD? Thanks.

This record is absolutely stunning! Such dynamic sound, and a clean pressing with no flaws, marks, or unpleasant surface noises. A joy to listen to.

First time on vinyl for this monster album, and it sounds even better. I've become wary of vinyl reissues because not only are they often mastered from digital files instead of the master tapes, all too regularly they are cheap, noisy and warped pressings with tons of imperfections. I've bought four of these Enigma vinyl reissues and I must say say the sound is a delight, and the vinyl is good: heavyweight and quiet. I've seen a few complaints about noise but that was not my experience. I did exchange one because it was scratched, but that was obviously a packing mishap.
