Something sounds off about this version. Like the sound was brickwalled and mastered too loud for vinyl, causing clipping and distortion. Anyone else feel this way? -

Some major brickwalling on this release. Does not sound pretty! -
Edited 2 years agoDown graded to three stars because the color and size of the type makes the lyrics unreadable. The whole booklet seems uninspired. Vinyl sounds good though. -

Synth-pop is absolutely misleading and an insult, that does not do justice to this great band. They were part of the art, new wave and punk scene in San Francisco and played in the same clubs as Tuxedomoon and the Dead Kennedys like the Mabuhay and the Deaf Club!

Synth Punk is a valid style variant for this scene like No Wave for a similarly distinct east coast style! -
