Nightwish – Endless Forms Most Beautiful

Bad pressing. Lots of pops throughout. Side A was pretty good, but the rest of the records went downhill and has a lot of issues with pops and noisy crackling throughout.

I think maybe what is being heard on Side D are actually fireworks and water sounds. If you watch the video they are timed with the music and that seems to also be the case with the record. I didn't hear any traditional record pops or clicks. It is silent like the rest of the album. Records have been wet cleaned.

Could anyone pictures of the discs, please? I'd love to know how it looks in real life before buying.

Very clean and clear sounding edition. Except D side which was ruined by constant crackle and pops. Anyone having the same issue or is it just my copy?

Too much Symphonic and not enough Metal. Completely forgettable. 1 star.

hmm, I hope the LPs are not coming out as red (as depicted in the photos) instead of violet, as they should

... who's paying almost 300,- for a sealed copy, when there are enough copies (also sealed in M/M) for a 1/3 of that price - ?

Publishers should spend more effort on sound engineering than the countless limited edition discs. The sound is very muffled and compressed. Disappointed.

I must it I am not into this kind of music but the title must be one of the best ever for a work of art. A clear homage to Darwin's "On the origin of species".
