I have an edit that is 6:34 in length, and I've never been able to find a name for it. I've had the MP3 since the late 90s, and I've never seen this mix on any physical release...it was just being ed around online back in those days through IRC, Napster, etc. Any chance anyone would have knowledge of more releases that weren't on physical? I don't really know how to find out who made the mix or what the title is because I don't know anyone that is into anything like this. Any ideas? -

The Good Vibes remix is the one for me, such a awesome build up intro, takes me back to listening to London Pirate radio stations. -

Overrated commercial rave-dance-release.
Back in the days with the big fat rave-hype ... but sorry, Dune was never a part of the scene.
Not played in the clubs, not played at the raves.
So pls, don't mix it up with true artists of the time - like Marusha, Westbam, Bonzai Records, RMB, Lownoise & Mentheo, etc. etc. -
Edited 9 years agoSouth Bound Mix is very rare and the most sought after version, all others don't even come close. dougal's version was weak, Menas and USD's version was probable the best rip, on Digital International Techno, cat no/ DIG2, Other artists that did versions are, SCOTT BROWNS - Vinylgroover, but none have been as good as this. THIS ONE IS DEDICATED TO ALL THE RAVERS IN THE NATION.

Shame the Dougal mix never came out on cd. -

this release is below par as it is missing the South Bound Mix which everyone knows is the definitive version & to be frank the versions included here are really bad & take away all of the energy of the track -
Edited 18 years agoBelieve it or not, the 11 minute mix was my secret weapon back in the day. Hard pounding beats, mad metallic high hats and an awesome bass soaked breakdown and then the sax solo. It caused absolute dancefloor destruction. I once dropped it at a club in Worcester as my last tune before Billy Bunter took over - never seen another tune get such a reaction. It was if all the ravers in the club were moving as one and completely rapt by it. I still can't imagine how such a medicore group could produce such a monster. Track it down if you love your hard trance like Druid / Sharky / Clarkee used to play, you'll be amazed!
