I have a great sound. Bright and lively . He made me shake my head and grimace like it was 20 years ago) But there are problems. The vinyl is in a paper envelope and he left a lot of scuffs on the disc. + vinyl itself is noisy in quiet moments because of this . But for a cheap price tag, I advise you to take the risk and buy, as the sound is great 4/5

How is the sound of this vinyl, has anyone been able to compare it with efficient previous editions?

Anyone w/ a 1st pressing care to elaborate how glossy the original innersleeve is? I found a copy a 6 years ago, but I don't recall the distinction between glossy IS and thin matte IS from the 2008 reissue when I added it to my collection.

One of the greatest albums ever made. One of the greatest tributes. So, so good.

Probably one of the most coolest pressings I own. Sure it doesn't look EXACTLY like the mockup photos, but that's the way it is sometimes. It still looks and sounds fantastic. Happy I pulled the trigger on one of the best records of all time. People need to stop whining, like be happy this is even a thing. I'm 100% for clowning on companies who will list a variant name/color and not provide even a mockup photo, but at least they provided one, and hey, it's close enough.

Is it just me, or does "New Noise (Live)" (F5) end really abruptly?

This was sold as “Bone/Orange/Violet/Blue splatter,” which looked awesome and matched the cover art, so this rainbow splatter over white is a serious downgrade imo and not at all what was d. Colors aren’t everything, but it would have been nice to know ahead of time that the original color isn’t what we’d get. I would have held out for the solid purple. Packaging is still cool and it sounds great

I've had this for many years and it sounds really good. Can't compare it to other pressings but I've never felt the need to get another one. There is a bit of background noise but nothing too bad. A good master for a long album like this on a single LP.

Color me surprised at how good this sounds. I came in with the assumption that the mix was going to be unlistenably hot and the cymbals (which are so heavy in the mix) would be a mess. But, they're not. I was preparing to shrug and say, "I don't know what I expected. Why would this sound any good on vinyl?" But, it really, really does. Perfectly clear, fantastic mix, brutal noise.

Edit: Why a 4/5? Because, I tend to reserve 5's for something where it's so good that it's a unique experience and you really aught to listen to this particular release and not the digital copy, and that's not really true here. It sounds really, really good, but it doesn't bring a wholly different experience than does my trashed CD from the 90s.
