"If I’m not mistaken there were only 2-3 of this variant pressed - was an anomaly and pretty rare. There’s only 2 I know of and I recently sold mine. Hopefully I’m not wrong about this. This pressing was hand assembled at our office and we were usually pretty careful in of looking through the pressings and catching the special stuff. That said it COULD be that there were a few more."

Either there are significantly more than 2-3 copies of this one in existence or more likely most of them are in fact the 2007 repress. That one is supposed to be 2x orange/ white in an edition of 500, yet the listing photo shows a clear/ orange record and surprisingly few people have it. Very strange.

Why is there no mention of this (black version) beeing a gatefold sleeve? Can someone else confirm? I will edit the version. Also the pictures are not clear if its a gatefold or not. Also weighting the records A/B is significantly lighter than C/D -
I when this album came out at the end of the 90’s and everybody’s mind was rightfully blown. 24 years later it still sounds fresh! This pressing is great. Also, super happy with the new song on side D, can’t wait to see them live this summer. -
my copy arrived today and ended up being more of a black in red rather than blue. sounds great other than that and has a thick sleeve! -

Anyone else have incorrect labels? I have a C/B and a C/D. Looks to be just a typo. -
Can anyone actually confirm with a picture that an Orange/white A/B with an Orange/White C/D exists? I’ve never seen one.

Looking like a GZ press. Haven't listened yet to know, but GZ is getting a little bit better these days with pressing quality. Hope this turns out well. -
Hot damn! One of the best heavy records ever. Nothing rips quite like this album. Musically, its perfect. Sounds like Y2K.
This remaster repress is fantastic. The low end is has girth and the highs are sublime, nothing shrill or piercing here. I’m very happy to have this affordable repress of a classic. -
Edited 2 years agoAbsolutely phenomenal pressing. No surface noise to speak up. The mix sounds great. AND I love that the C/D sides are Man the Ramparts and the new song. I'm so sick of 2LP everything. I've always kind of thought of Man The Ramparts as a bonus track anyway; I usually don't play it when listening to this album on my phone. The new song is great but I didn't really like the idea of slapping it on the end of this classic album. So it's really nice having the second disk basically being the bonus material that you can choose to listen to or not. Thank you Sargent House!
