There are two different master releases for Yazoo - Situation
Since some countries issued hybrid singles with elements from both, the forum suggested some guidelines.

Records listed under Yazoo - Situation master should match two or more criteria:
1. "Situation" green-black artwork
2. 3:44 remix version of Situation (Kevorkian credit)
3. Situation clearly labeled as A side or AA side
4. Matrix numbers originating from another unambiguous Situation remix single

"Situation" first appeared as a b-side to the single Only You.
Released in the US & Canada in 1982 (and select territories excluding UK & Europe).
Re-released in 1990, and again in 1999 with new remixes for the compilation Only Yazoo (The Best Of).

Just to amplify the comment about track 4, it is actually a slightly longer (maybe 30 seconds) version of the track originally found on the 1983 single for Nobody's Diary. The version found here thus seems to be unique.

I bought this when it came out in 1990! I got it second hand for £2.49 from Vinyl Exchange in Manchester... and I still have it and always will.. respect going way back!

A classic. I was still playing this in parties in 1992 -- 10 years after its release. A staple of the New Wave era. Love the percussions at the 2:55 break and the echoing effect from Moyet's laughing.
