Das Stück "Sky and Sand" hat einen recht guten Sound und klingt für mich interessant! Wer hier nach mehr Techno gepaart mit echtem Songwriting sucht, wird nicht besonders glücklich mit diesem Album werden können. Man muss den eher minimalistischen Stil von Paul Kalkbrenner wirklich mögen! Immerhin kostet das LP Doppelalbum aktuell über 20,00 € (mint Zustand). Das Vinyl selbst hat eine ordentliche Qualität (nur wenige deutliche wahrnehmbare Störgeräusche und gleichmäßig flach - ohne Höhenschlag usw.). Das gesamte Artwork ist recht ansprechend und fühlt sich wertig an (mattes Klappcover inkl. beidseitig bedrucktes Poster).

Sounds excellent, even on my humble set up
Zero noise, nice and deep with good separation
Minus 1 star because extended versions could’ve been added -
In my opinion this one would have been so much better as a triple vinyl album. Putting 4 dance tracks on one side just feels uncomfortable. More importantly: it could have contained the extended versions of Sky and Sand, Altes Kamuffel, Bengang and Saccha Funk's Mango. -
Does anyone knows why "Absynthe" is missing from the tracklist? -

Paul Kalkbrenner will in a couple of years be recognized as one of the best producers, when more and more people will discover his gorgeous releases!
And this is maybe the best release yet to come, where most of his newest work is put together as the soundtrack for the german movie 'Berlin Calling'.
Quality from start to finish. Just listen to itself and you'll see what i mean.. my favourites are #1, #2, #4, #5, #6, #10, #11 & #16.. but everything on this soundtrack is absolutely brilliant!
*Sky And Sand* will be a huge hit in the summer 2009!
*Gebrünn Gebrünn will become a huge classic!
