The Who – I Can't Explain

Anyone else have a copy with 2 side 1 labels?

1965 single, this was The Who's first release in the US. Both songs are non-album tracks.
Record plays with light surface noise and no skips. Includes generic sleeve.

There are actually 3 releases of this pink promo all are Gloversville, NY pressings. The second release still has Pete's last name missing the "h" on side A but instead of Duchess Music Corp (BMI) on side B it has Leeds Music Corp (AS) which the 3rd release also has Leeds on side B but Pete's name has been spelled correctly with the "h" included on side A.

i landed another nm copy of this one, great second festival pressing from 1967....

finally after years i got around to getting this ORIGINAL 1965 pressing of the whos first 45 for brunswick back in 1965, i got this in a nice company sleeve & for a record 56 years old this looks & sounds great, many of these originals took a beating so its nice to find a nm one!!!!

great german sleeve from december 1965, the sleeve is a bit thin but this still can be found in great + condition, what a great live 64 shot of the band, this is about my favorite german who 45 sleeve...... got this at a flea market in vg++ condition over 40 years ago

This promo was issued with Pete Townshend's name both spelled correctly and incorrectly. One version has no "h" in "Townshend" and the other does. (See pictures above.)

this is the second pressing of the i cant explain who 45 released by festival records in australia back in 1967 aprrox 18 months after the first pressing on the same label of this single, this comes in a regular festival company sleeve................

Regardless of the matrix numbers, "I Can't Explain" is surely the A side.
