Cowboy Junkies – The Caution Horses

Really great listen - happy to have this. A lot of 90s pressings I have don't sound fantastic, but this is terrific.

This is a solid pressing to my ears. Clear, warm and intimate sounding.

Not a bad pressing but it’s a short enough album to fit in one disc. They pressed it in two waxes to justify the asking price. Hate flipping it over after just ten minutes of music.

Some are pressed on quiex vinyl, and some are not. The quiex pressing sounds wonderful, the other is fairly noisy. If looking at to buy a copy make sure to ask the seller or hold the disc up to the light and see if it is on a translucent color (usually purple or brown)

Very nice. Along with The Trinity Session, I've picked up two bargains that are all the Cowboy Junkies I think I need. Must have paid £15 in total for both together, when instead I could have had something pop into my head, buy it on Amazon for £25 or more, and receive some highly suspect modern pressing. 2nd hand record shops IRL and on discogs, everyone's a winner.

A peak of the Junkies long career and the right album to start loving the band.
Critics have been always claiming the Trinity Session, but I find this more mature and emotional. Especially side A is of great intensity with 5 really great songs. Margo's voice as always incredible.
Good the first LP presses can be found at very resonable prices.

Decent reissue pressing, well worth it’s money. Good soundstage and channel separation. Dynamics are apparent and with a good bandwidth quality.

According to sleeve/disc, the tracks 6,7,8 are are listed wrong. They should have been listed in opposite order.
