referencing Great Original Hits Of The '50s & '60s (7×LP, Compilation, Reissue, Stereo, Box Set, Reissue) RDA 182/A
Yet another mammoth Reader's Digest collection, this one's seven LP's and 84 songs, in a box that's built like a tank. The songs run chronologically from 1950-69, and even as the set progresses, the music remains decidedly on the easy-listening, schmaltzy side of the spectrum. There are also quite a few songs in fake reprocessed stereo. The vinyl looks untouched and sounds unplayed, very quiet and clean with no noticeable surface noise.
