Aphex Twin – Richard D. James Album

In 2009 I was given my grandpa's car which had a tape deck (like Gramps the car was hard to kill), so I went tape shopping at Recordland in Calgary, AB and I found this tape, Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique, and The Barenaked Ladies - Sandwich E.P. (aka Yellow Tape) for $4.99 CAD each.

I driving towards home on 9th Ave SE in the warm sunshine with the windows down, bumping along to 4, and feeling how incredibly much I would always miss Grandpa the rest of my life. The car is long gone now, but the tape I can still hold.. and feel..

Killer vinyl - i only wish my system could keep up with the RI-DIC-U-LOUS-NESS! (yellow calx has become my new speaker test...)

Great sounding record. Fingerbib is always my favorite song from this album.

Superb reissue. I've never heard this album sound as good as this before. There's not a weak link here in the slightest. Super affordable too!

one of his best works imo, it kinda grows on you over time

Great sounding. No surface noise, no pops/clicks, dead quiet vinyl.
My version has no hype stickers and card. I think this is late repress of 2020 release.
Happy to own this.

My copy came with a paper face mask of Richards face from the cover I bought it when it was released.

i want this because i think it's funny, just a version of a great album on the worst format
