Its all about the Dobie remixes and the killer rodney P verses on this 12". Killer -
These remixes are nightmarish. Listening to all four in row is like if Björk died and went to hell, where she must repeatedly sing I Miss You in an eternal salsa club that you can never escape. -

My copy of this 12" came in the sleeve meant for the R.H Factor promo 12". Interesting. -
I love this single so much for tracks 3 and 4. Track 3 is Darren Emerson's remix of "I Miss You", it's a beautiful stripped down house funker with minimalist percussion that lays a solid framework for melodies and sounds that have almost nothing to do with the original track but help you to see it in a different light. Track 4 is the 808 State track that never was, a Graham Massey remix of Bjork's "Karvel"; it's pure beauty, with Bjork's joyful vocals soaring over a melodic landscape underpinned with deep and powerful slow drums. For me this single defines the point in time when Bjork was at her strongest, having just released an album that wasn't too commercial but still had some killer songs on it.
