All time classic house track, way ahead of its time when released. All the elements just seem to work perfectly from that crazy piano & line that has been samples so many times & I am sure will be used countless times in the future, to funky the bassline, lovely synth loop that is now a quintessential house sound through to the vocals. -
In NYC, the black labels were the first label of this song I came across, weeks later the red label came out. I bought 2 copies of this (black label) back in 1986 the Friday it showed up at Downstairs Records NYC. That weekend every club played this records multiple times bringing down the House (the building). It was all screams, hands in the air and bodies moving.

The A1 version of the song has always sounded like pitch was skewed at very beginning. I bought my 2 copies the 1st day it showed up at Downstairs Records NYC back in 1986. The labels are black instead of red (They used the paper available). Trax is notorious for not the best quality pressing, loud though, its like it was rushed. All of Trax records had flaws as they flooded the DJ dance floor.

A1 Seems to have a wobble effect right at the piano part at the start of A1,vinyl is perfectly flat so not the issue in this case,its like a tape speed wobble,bad repress,judging by the comment on the 2014 release,they are using the same plates. -
Good, but definitely not as good as the original Trax / Other Side version -

Does anyone have a copy of this with the correct 90 remix on the label instead
of the comment above that says it comes as 89 remix. Just wondering if this is a rarer copy than the one mentioned in the notes.
