For years this United Record Pressing version has been claimed to be from 2001, but no one has been able to point out that this is a reissue. What's more, that mistake has expanded and even affected the black vinyl "The Blueprint" notes at the time.

Despite what people say about this being edited it's definitely an incredible record for a dollar lol. I like it just from a collector's standpoint. It's a cool piece of hip hop history.

I cry every time when I learn that this album was released on such a tragic day on 9/11. We lost millions of lives on that day (World Trade Center, Pentagon, Stonycreek) but that was also the day Jay took over! We never forget 9/11.

Not my favorite press, I feel as though sound quality could have been better. But honestly, I don’t know.

Flat and pretty quiet, a nice surprise based on expectations. Mastering is actually quite well done.

Anyone else receive two copies of insert 1? Also a few spelling errors on the credit sheets 😂

Sound is good, had some issues on side D, but might be just gunk, didn't wash it yet.

Renegade sounds noticeably lower quality than the rest of the album on here, lots of sibilance on that cut and a couple others, not the biggest fan of this one but it's worth owning if you can get a copy for cheap
