I am not sure if I was extremely unlucky with my copy that I got for halfway decent price, but I hand wind tapes to one end before popping it into a player, ensuring the tape isn’t stuck and going to tear on me. Well even taking that precaution, both leads popped off. I don’t know as I own also White Pony that is a Maverick, both US copies. That one plays phenomenal, no issues. The recording on this is pretty great, sadly some of tape was somehow crumpled up inside, it did straighten out, but did cause some warble to the sound.

I wish the bass sounded a bit deeper on this and it was a tad less compressed sounding but overall this is very solid, quiet too, barely any surface noise

I don’t think this is a reissue, but instead a repress of the 2022 EU optimal pressing. Has the same, wider runout groove as the 2022 as well. Not sure. To me it sounds great… like really great. I have not heard a 2011 though…… anyone wanna weigh in? Until I hear a 2011, I’m gonna rate this a 5. Sounds great. It’s nice & loud, but there’s plenty of headroom to go even louder. Lots of midrange & upper end depth
