This track has quite a long built up with weird and crazy noises - yes, quite dark so far.... But then, at around 4:40 the sun breaks trough the fog :) But it's a kind of pitty, that the light does no take you to higher spheres for very long - the track looses (at around 5:30) it's energy again and fades out... really a pitty IMHO

it seems that Hallucinogen track Spiritual Antiseptic was inspired by track from Juan Verdera Spiritual Healing...

Edited 9 years agowow. I'd forgotten what this track was (promethean process - clarity from deep fog). It was in one of my old mixes and i thought perhaps slinky wizard (and so had failed to find it!). really glad to find out who it really is, so i can get the digital version. The vinyl had a magical feeling for me, i don't know if it is just the title, but i liked to use it to bring people back from a dark excursion.
Hallucinogen's track isn't bad, but it isn't exceptional either, promethean process more than made up for the cost of spending 5 pounds on a single track. -
Edited 10 years agoDark cold scifi trance from Process. The Hallucinogen track, on the other hand, contains gated choirs that send shivers through one's soul and then kicks into an almost metallic demonic frenzy of synth stabs and growling chords punctuated by a mid-section of icicle melody before the mayhem returns to the finish - hectic but genius. One of the least compromising Goa tracks ever recorded. 5/5 for Hallucinogen 3/5 for Process. ~*~

Edited 15 years agoI am surprised that this is the first review for this truly outstanding trance music, although the ratings are very encouraging!
IMHO Clarity From Deep Fog would have to be the finest and most intelligent trance music I have ever experienced. There is nothing dated or cheesy, the range is from the lowest sub to the ultra-sonic highs and the recording quality is crystal! It is music for high quality full range speakers or head-phones.
The creators’ ability to generate such an adrenalin pushing and confident aura from the raw, cold, industrial sounds like a machine coming to life are true genius!
I came across this track on the Tantrance 6 compilation and have been searching for any other music that would compare well. Alas, I fear this was the “one in a million” synergies that Benji Vaughan and Sean Williams managed to perfect. If anyone can recommend other high quality music that would favourably compare I would greatly appreciate the suggestions.
As a summary I would say it is 100/100 and I couldn’t suggest anything to improve it.
As for Hallucinogen’s Spiritual Antiseptic, well not quite in the same league but a classic all the same and is also on the Tantrance 6 compilation.
