This album contains a number of classics: "Barricades and Brickwalls," "Runaway Train," and "I Still Pray"; the rest is worth the price of ission, too. Could've/ would've/ should've had a much bigger audience.

The Australian singer Kasey Chambers debuted in 1999 with the album The Captain that manifested as one of the most promising countryartiesten. Like related artists such as Lucinda Williams and Buddy & Julie Miller (which, incidentally, participated in her debut) provides Kasey singing country of her spicy rock guitars (Crossfire), beside which they are not ashamed of old-fashioned fiddleliedjes if A Little Bit Lonesome and the Gram Parsons-cover Still Feeling Blue. Kasey stands out from the competition by its beautiful simple songs that flawlessly the essence of good country music. The most impression makes them with her surefire and crystal clear voice that is reminiscent of Dolly Parton. With her punky appearance and texts about uncertainty (Am I Not Pretty Enough?), it is not even the MTV looking school youth for her. This record deserves at least a large audience.
