My vinyl copy has a lot of issues: there are multiple loud pops, surface noise throughout, and noticeable distortion on « Echoes ». Worst of all, some phrases repeat in a loop, which completely ruins the listening experience. Very disappointing pressing. -
Thought I’d have to buy one thru ebay, to my total surprise while on a trip to Japan found this by accident at Tower records in Shinjuku…made my day. Sounds awesome, was sceptical about the inside to outside play but it works.
Nick and the guys did a great job on an already iconic track, me wondering of a new album is on the way with some new tracks ?

My copy comes without any defects, the sound is spectacular, it's worth keeping a copy, an attraction that must be reproduced from the inside out, the side with the engraved design shines beautifully, you can immediately tell that Steven Wilson intervened in the mix.
Sound quality is excellent. My record player stops every 10 minutes. I’m assuming because the record plays from the inside out.

Didn’t get lucky enough for a signed inner sleeve. Copy came with what looked like a scratched divot hole; like someone tapped the record with a nail. This caused a small but noticeable pop during the quieter section before the second half. Besides that fantastic sound. Full thundering bass from Guy that’s not overpowering and wonder mid, highs and vocals and guitar. Shame about the QC on the pressing otherwise it would be 10/10.

A really nice sound pressing and mines is pretty flat.
And........mines isn't signed either.
You would think it would have been issued in a poly lined inner sleeve. -
This is literally the noisiest new “mint” record I have ever purchased. Almost unbearable to listen to at the end. The music is spectacular, too bad they failed miserably on the vinyl pressing.

I got a perfect copy. No scratches or any issues. Sounds surreal!! No pops or skips. Very happy with my copy!
