I'll give the contrarian opinion here: I think the sound quality is what stops this from being a grade-A purchase. This sounds like an old bootleg CD i'd have paid $25 for in the 90's.

Edited 24 days agoUnfortunate that the copy I got the inner sleeves were "stickied" to the cover. So taking the inner sleeve out damages them as the glue sticks to it. Not sure if all copies are like this but I assume it was done to keep the records/sleeves from shifting in the gatefold. Otherwise, the music is just fantastic.

Does sound great, excellent presence, deep, concert-quality bass and you can really hear the theater space. Turn it up loud enough and it's going to be a similar experience to being there.

This is not a 2xLP, but 3xLP, same as https://discogs.programascracks.com/release/33672594-Prince-The-New-Power-Generation-Live-At-Glam-Slam

Bernie Grundman mastering, this is astonishing . Was only available in a box set, now released on its own. Quiet solid yellow vinyl. Get it before it's gone.

Commenting to remind myself to log the Record Store Day 3xLP version that I just purchased this morning.
